The mandatory Zanzibar travel insurance, and how to buy it

Zanzibar requires every visitor to hold its own inbound travel insurance. This is a legal requirement, not an upsell, and you have to show proof of it at immigration.

The part people get wrong

International travel insurance does not replace it. You need this specific policy as well as whatever cover you already hold.
